DR. David Gonzalez, MD
Dr. David Gonzalez, M.D. is a highly experienced physician with over 60 years of clinical practice in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. He is currently the Medical Director and attending physician at David Gonzalez MD PA, an internal medicine practice located in Greenacres, Florida.
Dr. Gonzalez earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1960. He began his clinical training with an internship at San Juan Hospital in Bucaramanga, Colombia, before relocating to the United States in 1963. He completed a rotating internship at Bergen Pines County Hospital in New Jersey (now New Bridge Medical Center), followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ, and a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in East Orange, NJ (1963–1967).
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Gonzalez served as Chair of the Internal Medicine Department at Universidad Industrial de Santander in Colombia from 1967 to 1971, where he played a leadership role in curriculum development and clinical training for medical students.
Dr. Gonzalez later returned to Newark, NJ, where he operated his own medical practice from 1971 to 1983, with a focus on internal and pulmonary medicine. His clinical expertise includes preventive adult care, diagnosis, and management of complex chronic conditions such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), as well as advanced pulmonary function evaluation and respiratory disease management.
Since 1983, Dr. Gonzalez has practiced medicine in Florida and has been affiliated with JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, FL. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and maintains a strong commitment to delivering culturally competent and patient-centered care.
Silvana Memon, APRN
Silvana Memon, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a strong focus on internal medicine and critical care, bringing seven years of healthcare experience to our practice in Greenacres, FL. With extensive expertise gained as a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Broward Health Hospital, Silvana has managed complex, high-acuity patients, including those with COVID/ARDS, sepsis, acute kidney injury on CRRT, heart failure, stroke, and post-PCI STEMI/NSTEMI. As a charge nurse in a 16-bed ICU, she served as a resource to peers, mentored new hires, and led critical care initiatives, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
As a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Florida Nursing Association, she remains committed to advancing her practice. Andrea Cedeno, RN, BSN
Medical Coordinator
Andrea brings over a decade of professional experience in the medical field, with a strong background in nursing, clinical operations, and medical practice management. She previously served at other medical centers as Head Nurse delivering high-quality patient care and where she was instrumental in the organization’s growth from 2 to 17 locations.
Andrea began her career as an Emergency Room Nurse at Urgencias del Norte Hospital in Medellín, Colombia. She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing—one from Universidad Marco Fidel Suárez in Colombia and another from the University of the Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Andrea is the founder of C&C Wellness Med Spa, located in Palm Beach, Florida. The med spa specializes in anti-aging, beauty, and weight loss treatments, reflecting her passion for wellness and patient-centered care.
